Welcome to the new prawegko.dev. This site is built with Astro, a modern static site generator that produces fast, lightweight websites by default.
Why Astro?
After running on NextJS + Vercel for a while, I wanted to try a different deployment approach:
- Static by default — Astro ships zero JavaScript unless you need it
- Content Collections — native MDX support with typed frontmatter
- Cloud-native deployment — S3 + CloudFront with OIDC-based GitHub Actions CI/CD

The Workflow
git push origin main
-> npm ci
-> npm run build
-> aws s3 sync dist/ s3://prawegko.dev --delete
-> aws cloudfront create-invalidation ...All authenticated through GitHub's OIDC provider — no long-lived AWS keys needed.
